As a Family Based Therapist you will provide family-focused services for youth ages 8 to 17 who have significant emotional and behavioral problems. Our treatment approach is called Systemic Family Therapy (SFT), which helps address depression, anxiety, oppositional behavior, abuse, trauma, delinquency, and more. You will collaborate with referral sources, key participants, and other service providers involved with the family as appropriate.
In this
hybrid-remote therapy position, you will provide services primarily in family's homes or in the community. You will work a
flexible schedule that is responsive to client needs, which may include evening hours on a regular basis. This position includes training in the SFT treatment approach, mileage reimbursement, and licensure supervision.
Successful candidates must possess knowledge of family systems and a passion for working with youth. The candidate must have a master's degree in professional counseling, psychology, social work or an approved behavioral science and must be on track for clinical licensure through the State of Minnesota. Current licensure in the State of Minnesota for independent practice in social work, psychology, professional counseling, or marriage and family therapy is desired.
